The idea came to photographer and yoga teacher, Shannon Grant, during meditation practice. She saw parallels in the ancient teachings and film cameras: presence, discernment, a flow state. This wisdom saw her through a grief journey, sparking joy back to her life and work.

I highly recommend Shannon’s classes! They relieve stress, strengthen, and invigorate your soul. You always leave feeling better than when you came. In the past, my body's been stressed, tight, and closed off. Shannon guides you to feel safe, relaxed, and focused. After class, I feel centered, loose, yet stronger in the areas we worked on.
I was curious, nervous, and uncertain of what to expect as a beginner. Shannon makes you feel relaxed and also challenged in her classes. Afterwards, I feel content and accomplished, curious to learn more of this practice. If you’re considering taking one of her classes, it’s absolutely worth it!
Taking time for yourself is good for you. Yoga is so good for you. You learn how to move in new ways, better know your body, feeling comfortable to move how you want and need to. Before Shannon’s classes, I had more back pain, less balance, and was disconnected from my breath. I love it all and feel so relaxed — I now like taking time for myself.
